An inspection plan for procurement of the product is completely different from the one for manufacturing or pre-delivery inspection. Individually inspection lot is comprised of a blend of materials, the plant at which the products are being held and events when the inspection plan is assigned for the lot. The lots are distinguished from one another based on a few unique identifications like tracking numbers, reference number, and batch number. A lot can be created either manually through a web browser, extracted from an excel file, or integrated through an external system. The created lots can be assigned to specific inspectors, and inspectors will use the mobile application to execute inspections on those lots. Inspection lots reports are created based on pre-defined inspection plans. Users can use the same inspection plan on various lots with different batch sizes.

General forms, as the name suggests, are used to gather any broad information regarding employees or workflow. The system also pushes “Flow Forms” that are devised to keep track of the work being done and procure additional information about the machinery or the environment at any step.
Users can enter data in real-time, both online and offline, where the inserted information will be saved and synchronized upon connectivity to the internet. A mobile application has also been introduced that facilitates the users. The user-friendly application features a list-based selection dashboard. The app will also feature a reference pointer that the inspector can use to highlight any critical note or information with attached media evidence to increase the overall visibility of the process.
“Watches” is another essential and powerful feature of Process Intel. Team leads can intimate members about any upcoming event, training, or even policy change. Sharing of relevant updates or announcements amongst the team members can also be done. Descriptive instructions, media attachments, two-way commenting, and “acknowledgment” can be incorporated to use the feature to its fullest.
